Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Interior Drafter to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for interior spaces and collaborating with architects, designers, and clients to bring innovative design concepts to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles, excellent technical skills, and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and sections for residential and commercial interiors using CAD software.

·       Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

·       Collaborate with interior designers to understand design concepts and project requirements.

·       Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including 3D renderings and mood boards.

·       Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess conditions, and document existing spaces.

·       Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project goals are met.

·       Prepare and revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients.

·       Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design and drafting technologies.

·       Incorporate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures into design plans.

Qualifications

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD & SketchUp) and other design-related software.

·       Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.

·       A portfolio showcasing relevant design and drafting work is required.

·       Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

·       Proven experience as an interior drafter or in a similar role.

·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
