We are seeking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions for a diverse range of customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working on multiple projects across different industries, with expertise on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Veritas NetBackup, Virtualization Technologies, and a strong understanding of network architecture and system administration.

Key Responsibilities:
Project-Based Infrastructure Design & Implementation
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their infrastructure requirements and deliver solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable and secure infrastructure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of various customers.
- Design, implement and manage solutions based on virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix and KVM,
- Design, implement and manage backup recovery solutions using enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, and Backup Appliances across multiple customer environments.
- Implement and manage cloud services, with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring seamless integration with customers' existing systems.
- Install and configure server hardware solutions based on x86 servers, Oracles SPARC servers, and enterprise-level storage systems.
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting or automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network, storage and security teams, to design and implement integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures and incident management records.
Backup & Recovery Solutions
- Design, implement and manage backup and recovery solutions using Veritas NetBackup across multiple customer environments.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures customized for each customer.
- Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data, and perform recovery tests to validate the solutions for different customers.

Troubleshooting, Support & Maintenance
- Provide day to day support for VMware virtualized environments, including troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Monitor and maintain OCI infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and availability.
- Administer and maintain backup solutions, performing regular backup, restorations and testing disaster recovery plans.
- Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and troubleshooting for server and storage hardware.
- Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, providing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.

Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce security best practices within virtualized, cloud, backup and hardware environments to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across all infrastructure components, including server and storage hardware.
