Qualification and Knowledge

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Banking Finance IT or equivalent

Work or Professional Experience
Upload / create/alter users and assigning roles and privileges Perform export/import, database creation, basic troubleshooting Administer and create all database objects and users on the request of developer of the application team.
Create basic Oracle database daily/monthly/quarterly reports on periodic basis as per RFP and distribute the same to respective stakeholders

Follow processes for change control, problems, incidents, service calls and manage the incident/tickets at provided tool

Should be responsible to maintain optimum utilization of all the equipments w.r.t. database operations and keeping close watch on optimum performance of database Monitor Database, OS, Network, Database processes, Database objects on regular basis and implement necessary measures to rectify the issues Should have experience on RMAN and Restore procedure Proven record in performance tuning, query optimization, compute scale upprocedure

Experience in setting up Transparent Data Encryption, Hardening benchmark Hands-on experience in setting up and manage RAC and Data Guard Prefer to have experience on Oracle Database patching, version upgrade and migration Functional or Technical Competencies

• Strong experience and knowledge of automation and scripting.
• Experience in conducting root-cause analysis and tracing to resolve issues.

• Experience in test case creation and execution
