Job Summary

The Information Technology Consultant provides professional IT advisory and technical support services to clients and internal stakeholders. This role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, recommending appropriate technology solutions, managing IT projects, and ensuring that systems and processes align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ business needs to recommend tailored IT solutions and strategies that drive business value
• Consult on system architecture, infrastructure, software applications, and digital transformation initiatives to optimize technology use
• Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements to guide solution design and implementation
• Evaluate existing IT systems to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements that enhance performance
• Design and implement IT solutions that increase operational efficiency and system reliability
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support during system implementation and migration to minimize disruptions
• Monitor system performance continuously and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain system stability
• Ensure IT systems comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to safeguard data and operations
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and user manuals to support knowledge transfer and compliance
• Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective system adoption
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative IT solutions

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT consulting, system implementation, or related roles
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, databases, and enterprise applications
• Experience in project management and requirement analysis
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT governance frameworks
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS, Azure, or Microsoft certifications
