Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily sea freight import and export shipments
• Prepare and process shipping documentation accurately and on time, including HB/L, MBL, manifests, pre-alerts, customs declarations, and TradeNet submissions
• Ensure all shipment requirements are fulfilled according to customer instructions and operational timelines
• Monitor shipment progress closely and coordinate with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, trucking partners, overseas offices, warehouses, depots, insurance providers, and customs clearance parties
• Handle system data entry and maintain accurate shipment records
• Resolve shipment issues, including delays, discrepancies, damaged cargo, and short-landed cargo, in a timely and professional manner
• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints, while providing regular shipment updates
• Verify vendor costs, prepare payment vouchers, and ensure timely billing and collection of related charges from consignees or agents
• Close shipment files promptly and maintain proper filing of operational documents
• Ensure all transactions are handled accurately, completely, and within required timelines
• Maintain full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health procedures and company operational standards
• Support any other duties assigned by the superior

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in relevant field.
• Knowledge in Freight Forwarding, import procedure or permit declaration.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work OT if required.
• Able to perform in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
