Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain hydraulic systems and components used in machinery, marine equipment, and industrial applications.
Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnostics, and repair of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and control systems.
Perform installation, testing, flushing, and commissioning of hydraulic systems onboard vessels, offshore platforms, or industrial sites.
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic circuit diagrams.
Carry out pressure testing, flow checks, and performance analysis to ensure optimal system operation.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment and machinery.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams during repair, modification, and upgrade works.
Evaluate damaged hydraulic components and recommend repair procedures or replacements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, marine regulations, and industry best practices during all hydraulic operations.
Assist in preparing quotations, job scope descriptions, cost estimates, and material lists.
Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and documentation for completed works.
Support procurement by identifying suitable hydraulic parts, seals, hoses, fittings, and consumables.
Provide technical advice and solutions to customers and internal teams.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring hydraulic failures and propose preventive actions.
