Job Summary
We seek a proactive HR Admin Assistant to support HR functions, enhance workplace culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role offers growth opportunities to contribute to a mission-driven education environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including posting jobs, coordinating interviews, preparing offer letters, onboarding, and offboarding to ensure smooth talent acquisition and transition
- Support talent management and staff development initiatives to foster employee growth and retention
- Organize company events and staff engagement activities to strengthen workplace culture and boost employee morale
- Facilitate internal communications and conduct pulse surveys to assess employee sentiment and guide engagement strategies
- Handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion, maintaining confidentiality and trust
- Maintain and update accurate employee records and HR databases to support operational efficiency
- Implement and enhance HR systems and workflows to improve process accuracy and efficiency
- Support payroll preparation by tracking attendance, leave, and bonuses to ensure timely and accurate compensation
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and employment laws to mitigate legal risks
- Review and update HR policies and the employee handbook to reflect current regulations and best practices
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Proven experience in HR or administrative support roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software applications
- Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective team collaboration and issue resolution
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
- Empathetic, approachable, and solutions-focused attitude
