Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior HR Executive (HR Ops) to join our team in Singapore. This role will manage HR operations, employee engagement, performance management, and work pass applications.

Responsibilities

  • Advise business units strategically on HR and people-related matters to support organizational goals and workforce effectiveness
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, contract preparation, and maintaining employee documentation to ensure smooth employee lifecycle management
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore employment laws and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations to mitigate legal risks
  • Process work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations (EP, S Pass, DP, LOC, etc.) through MOM portals to maintain workforce compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and internal systems to support data integrity and reporting
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace environment that enhances employee engagement and retention
  • Lead the performance appraisal process by aligning evaluations with business objectives and providing guidance on goal setting, feedback, and development plans to drive employee growth
  • Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives to build organizational capability and talent pipelines
  • Review and refine HR policies and standard operating procedures to improve operational efficiency and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and employee experience to enhance overall HR service delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in a regional or fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and HR best practices
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms (e.g., Whyze) and digital tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the technology or IT services industry is advantageous
