An Uncommon Entry into HR
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with 2–3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or consulting who are looking to pivot into a commercial and hands-on HR role.
Our client is open to individuals without prior HR experience, as long as they bring strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and a genuine interest in people, operations, and organisational effectiveness.
This role offers exposure to both strategic and operational HR, including workforce planning, performance, cost analysis, employee issues, and regional business partnering across diverse markets.
What You Will Be Doing
- Partner business leaders on workforce and people-related matters
- Analyse headcount, manpower costs, and salary data to support decision-making
- Support performance, rewards, and talent planning processes
- Get involved in employee relations and operational HR matters
- Travel to regional operations, including Africa and Papua New Guinea, to understand on-the-ground challenges and support local teams
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and organisational initiatives
Who This Would Suit
- 2–3 years of experience in audit, accounting, or consulting
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with data, costs, and business issues
- Interested in moving into a business-facing HR role
- Willing to travel and work in fast-paced, less structured environments
