Un poste d’enseignant-e d’histoire-géographie en Section internationale est susceptible d'être vacant au second degré (collège et lycée). Nous accueillons avec intérêt les candidatures de professeurs souhaitant s'investir dans les missions suivantes : 

MISSIONS

• Enseigner l’histoire-géographie en anglais au collège et au lycée pour les sections européennes et/ou internationales (SI et BFI) britanniques
  

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des situations d’apprentissage ou d’enseignement dans le cadre des programmes et référentiels français
  

• Transmettre des connaissances disciplinaires
  

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des modalités d’évaluation des acquis des élèves, en liaison avec les autres enseignants ou les partenaires professionnels
  

• Faire acquérir des compétences incluant des capacités, des attitudes et des savoir-faire
  

• Maîtriser la conduite d'une classe et susciter l'intérêt et la participation des élèves
  

• Assurer un suivi personnalisé des élèves en lien avec les familles et participer à leur projet d’orientation
  

• Contribuer au fonctionnement de l’établissement et au travail d’équipe
  

• Adapter son enseignement à la diversité des élèves en apportant à chacun l'appui nécessaire, et mesurer leurs acquis
  

• Utiliser des technologies de l'information et de la communication au service des apprentissages
  

• Attribution de fonctions spécifiques (coordination, professeur principal, etc) possible
  

COMPÉTENCES, EXPÉRIENCE ET FORMATION REQUISES

• Anglophone ou bilingue
  

• Titulaire d’un diplôme d’enseignement pour le secondaire
  

• Maîtrise de la matière enseignée
  

• Expérience dans l’enseignement au niveau secondaire (collège et lycée) 
  

• Connaissance du système éducatif français souhaitée
  

• Sens de l’organisation et du contact
  

• Réactivité et disponibilité
  

• Capacité d’adaptation et bienveillance
  

• Très bonne expression écrite et orale
  

• Forte capacité à travailler en équipe et à s’investir dans des projets
  

• Expérience en qualité de professeur principal et/ou chargé de l’orientation des élèves est appréciée 
  

• Maîtrise des outils numériques 
  

• Capacité à s'adapter à des élèves francophones et non francophones
  

• Capacité à assurer un enseignement adapté à des élèves de profils très divers
  

• Capacité à travailler de manière transversale et pluridisciplinaire
  

• La maîtrise du français est un avantage pour échanger avec les familles et les collègues.
  

CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL

• Conducting History and Geography lessons in English for middle school and high school
  

• Design and implement learning or teaching situations within the framework of French curricula and standards.
  

• Transmit subject-specific knowledge.
  

• Design and implement assessment methods for student achievement in collaboration with other teachers or professional partners.
  

• Facilitate the acquisition of competencies, including skills, attitudes, and know-how.
  

• Master classroom management while sparking student interest and participation.
  

• Provide personalized student follow-up in connection with families and participate in their academic and career guidance.
  

• Contribute to the school's operations and teamwork.
  

• Adapt teaching to student diversity by providing necessary support to each individual and measuring their progress.
  

• Utilize information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance learning.
  

• Perform specific duties (coordination, lead teacher/tuteur, etc.).
  

SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION 

• Recognised qualification in Teaching
  

• Deep understanding of the subject and the curriculum
  

• Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable
  

• Be able to teach the speciality History, Geography, Geopolitics and Political Sciences would be a plus
  

• Knowledge of the French curriculum
  

• Organisational and interpersonal skills
  

• Responsiveness and availability
  

• Adaptability and benevolence
  

• Very good writing and speaking skills
  

• Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful
  

• Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit
  

• Mastery of digital tools

• Able to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students
  

• Able to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way
  

• A good command of French is a plus in order to facilitate the communication with families and colleagues
