Job Summary

Perform inspection, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of heavy vehicles and trailers to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test heavy vehicles including lorries, trucks, and trailers to identify faults and ensure operational safety
• Perform regular maintenance and repair work on vehicles and trailers to maintain optimal performance
• Verify that all repair works comply with regulatory codes, specifications, and company guidelines to ensure legal and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace by adhering to high standards of housekeeping and safety protocols
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently while collaborating with team members when needed
• Take responsibility and accountability for assigned duties, demonstrating initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
• Identify and suggest improvements to maintenance processes and vehicle performance under pressure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess a forklift license (advantageous but not essential)
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in automotive service and repair
