We are seeking an experienced Head of Presales to lead and scale a high-performing presales function. This role requires deep, hands-on domain knowledge across network, systems, and security, combined with strong people leadership and a consultative, customer-facing mindset. You will be responsible for presales strategy, technical excellence, and close alignment with sales and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary presales team, fostering technical excellence and strong collaboration.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across network infrastructure, systems architecture, and security, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and fit for purpose.
• Define and own presales strategy, frameworks, processes, and best practices to deliver business-aligned technical consulting.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, translating business requirements into well-designed infrastructure and solution architectures.
• Balance technical recommendations with commercial considerations, ensuring solutions meet both clients’ needs and business objectives.
• Assess customers’ existing architectures and work with internal technical teams to recommend improvements and modernisation.
• Define scope, effort, and tasks from user stories and discovery sessions to support accurate solutioning and estimation.
• Partner closely with sales team on opportunity qualification, proposal development, and bid responses, providing clear and compelling technical input.
• Provide technical enablement, training, and ongoing support to sales team on products, solutions, and positioning.
• Ensure smooth and effective handover from presales to project delivery teams.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to continuously improve solution quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with strong exposure to networking, systems, and security domains.
• At least 5 years of experience managing and leading technical teams, preferably in a presales or consulting environment.
• Proven expertise in designing and architecting network and infrastructure solutions.
• Strong client-facing experience with a consultative approach and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading presales, bid, and proposal processes.
• Track record of driving customer satisfaction and delivering high-quality technical outcomes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
