What you'll do:

As Head of Operations – Hedge Fund, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for optimising operational processes across multiple fund structures. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with investment professionals to deliver actionable performance insights while ensuring that all fund documentation is meticulously managed. You will champion compliance by implementing rigorous controls that meet evolving regulatory standards. In addition to supervising finance and administrative teams, you will play an active role in mentoring colleagues to achieve shared objectives. Your ability to anticipate industry shifts will help future-proof the organisation’s operations. By supporting the CEO on strategic initiatives, you will directly contribute to both immediate priorities and long-term ambitions.   • Oversee all aspects of fund operations for private equity, private credit, and infrastructure funds by managing documentation workflows and subscription processes with precision and care.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to provide detailed performance attribution insights that support marketing initiatives and investor relations activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements by developing and maintaining robust internal controls and overseeing all compliance-related activities within the organisation.
  • Supervise finance and administrative functions to guarantee efficient day-to-day operations across all business units.
  • Evaluate, mentor, and oversee operational staff members while nurturing a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the team.
  • Support the CEO by undertaking strategic assignments that align with organisational goals and contribute to long-term business success.
  • Develop policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of accuracy and transparency.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to proactively adapt operational practices as needed for ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Foster open communication channels between departments to ensure alignment on key projects and timely resolution of operational challenges.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for Head of Operations – Hedge Fund brings extensive experience from leading roles within asset management or financial services settings.   • A degree from a recognised university coupled with 10–15 years’ proven experience in operations within asset management or financial services environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex fund operations for private equity, private credit, or infrastructure vehicles within regulated markets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to hedge funds or similar financial institutions.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail when handling sensitive documentation or regulatory submissions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities that enable you to nurture positive relationships across teams while promoting knowledge sharing and mutual respect.
  • Experience supervising finance or administrative functions in multi-faceted organisations where accuracy is paramount.
  • A collaborative approach that values input from others while encouraging open communication at all levels of the business.
