Job Duties
Regulatory & Quality Management
- Ensure compliance with CAAS, EASA, FAA, CAAC, CAAM, CAAT Part-145 and other applicable aviation regulations.
- Lead and maintain the Quality and Flight Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, EN9100/9110 and company standards.
- Define and deploy the local Quality and Flight Safety strategy aligned with business objectives.
Audit & Compliance
- Manage internal and external audits by aviation authorities, customers and certification bodies.
- Monitor compliance, oversee corrective actions, and maintain audit readiness.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Lead investigations into quality events and non-conformities using structured root cause analysis.
- Ensure regulatory occurrence reporting and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across operations.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop the Quality team while fostering a strong quality and safety culture.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS and regional leadership to drive compliance and operational excellence.
- Report quality performance and compliance metrics to senior management and headquarters.
Safety & External Relations
- Support Safety Management activities, crisis response and major incident management.
- Act as the primary liaison with aviation authorities, customers, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Quality or Compliance within the aerospace industry, preferably in a Part-145 maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of CAAS, EASA, FAA and other international aviation regulations.
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001, EN9100/9110 Quality Management Systems.
- Proven experience leading audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
