Overview

We are looking for a driven and experienced Gym Operator to lead our gym operations, with a strong focus on training and supporting senior clients. This role combines hands-on coaching, team leadership, and sales ownership, ideal for someone who thrives in both fitness delivery and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Training & Programming

• Design and deliver safe, effective training programs tailored to seniors (50+)
• Develop recovery-focused programs in collaboration with physiotherapy principles
• Monitor client progress and adjust programs based on mobility, injury history, and goals
• Ensure a high standard of coaching, safety, and client experience

2. Sales & Client Conversion

• Conduct consultations and convert leads into PT clients
• Build strong client relationships that drive retention and referrals
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
• Clearly communicate value of training programs, especially for senior health outcomes

3. Gym Operations & Team Management

• Oversee day-to-day gym operations
• Manage and mentor personal trainers to maintain coaching quality and performance
• Ensure smooth scheduling, client allocation, and service delivery
• Foster a strong, collaborative team culture

4. Recovery & Rehabilitation Integration

• Work closely with physiotherapists or apply relevant knowledge to support client recovery
• Create structured programs for injury prevention, mobility, and post-rehab training
• Act as a bridge between fitness and rehab for clients with specific needs

Requirements

• Proven experience working with senior clients (50+)
• Strong communication and sales skills with a track record of converting leads
• Experience working with physiotherapists, or background as a physiotherapist (preferred)
• Solid understanding of injury management, mobility, and recovery programming
• Leadership experience in managing a gym or coaching team (preferred)
• Positive attitude and strong team player mindset
