JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS
As we prepare for our opening in Q1 2026, Varel Singapore is seeking a passionate and service-oriented Guest Experience Ambassador to support Rooms and Guest Management in delivering seamless arrival and departure experiences. This role is highly guest-facing and plays a key part in shaping first and last impressions through attentive service, coordination, and a strong lobby presence.
Key Responsibilities
Support smooth guest arrivals and departures by coordinating transportation services, including in-house drivers, taxis, and outsourced limousine providers.
Perform check-in, check-out, and cashiering duties efficiently while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Provide courteous, knowledgeable assistance to guests by offering directions, hotel information, and recommendations on nearby amenities and attractions.
Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and driveway, ensuring guest safety, smooth traffic flow, and an orderly environment.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively deliver thoughtful service that exceeds expectations at every touchpoint.
Act as the “eyes and ears” of the hotel by identifying and reporting any unusual activity or guest concerns to the appropriate management or security personnel.
Collaborate closely with Front Office, Security, Concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and consistent service standards.
Uphold Varel Singapore and Marriott brand standards while representing the hotel with professionalism in all guest and stakeholder interactions.
Requirements
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior exposure to Front Office or guest services in a hotel environment is an advantage.
Familiarity with Property Management Systems such as Opera or equivalent is preferred.
Basic computer proficiency, including the use of internet resources to support guest inquiries.
Strong command of English with confidence in engaging guests in a warm, professional manner.
Good knowledge of local streets, landmarks, attractions, and dining options, with the ability to provide clear directions.
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for guest engagement.
Professional appearance and brand-conscious attitude, ensuring positive representation of the hotel at all times.
