Job Description
Job Summary:
The Global Key Account Manager (GKAM), Wireless is responsible for leading the overall strategy, execution, and growth of the Wireless Business across global strategic accounts. This role focuses on driving business opportunities, coordinating with international sites, subsidiaries, and partners, and expanding revenue within existing accounts while developing new customer relationships in the market.
As the primary point of contact for key accounts, the GKAM will build strong, long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and executive sponsors throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate cross-functional global teams to market and support equipment solutions for strategic accounts.
Develop and execute global account strategies, including sales planning, technical design-ins, commercial negotiations, implementation, and customer support.
Ensure consistent account management and customer engagement across all regions.
Identify new business opportunities by understanding customer strategies, industry trends, ecosystems, and competitive landscapes.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
Translate customer priorities into actionable strategic account plans supported by a robust opportunities pipeline.
Drive new product enablement initiatives and serve as the primary management contact for business and technical matters.
Monitor and execute key sales priorities, projects, and growth initiatives.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in key account management, sales leadership, or related roles preferably in MNC environment.
Experience in Wireless products, electronics, industrial applications, or capital equipment industries is advantageous.
Proven track record of delivering customer-focused solutions and managing complex sales cycles from strategy through closing.
Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams across multiple geographic regions.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and convert insights into actionable strategies.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and willing to travel up to 40%.
