Requirements

- Degree qualified with more than 15 years of progressive experience

- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and unstructured environment

- Proven experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with a track record of supporting expansion into new markets, and building the processes and controls required for the next stage of growth.

- B2C industry exposure, such as e-commerce, consumer products business

- Traits: Independent, highly motivated, mature, with strong communication skills and natural gravitas. Trustworthy and sharp, with stakeholder management ability to operate credibly at senior levels.

Job Scope

Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Finance Director to work in close partnership with the CFO, taking broad ownership across financial operations, reporting, planning and analysis, audit, tax and risk management. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver sharp performance insights to support executive decision-making. You will evaluate investment opportunities and business cases, support treasury and capital management activities, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls.

This is a role for a leader equally comfortable at the strategic and hands-on level. You will lead transformation initiatives, support M&A and growth initiatives, and manage external audit relationships and board reporting requirements. Strong people leadership is equally important – you will develop and inspire a high-performing finance team while serving as a trusted advisor to the CFO and broader leadership team.
