Job Summary

Join a dynamic cross-functional team as a Software Developer, driving end-to-end software delivery with a focus on quality, automation, and user experience through innovative web frontend and backend development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web frontend applications using frameworks such as React.js or Next.js to enhance user experience
• Develop server-side web applications and backend APIs using Node.js to support scalable software solutions
• Write automated functional and unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha to ensure code quality
• Design and implement database solutions to support application data requirements
• Leverage cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to build and deploy applications
• Collaborate with DevOps Engineers to automate build and release processes for continuous delivery
• Participate in pair programming and conduct code reviews to maintain high code standards
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Quality Engineers, and UI/UX Designers to deliver feature-rich software aligned with business needs
• Apply Agile methodologies and continuous integration/delivery practices to improve development efficiency
• Use version control systems like Git to manage codebase changes effectively
• Adapt to working on multiple platforms to support a versatile, cross-functional development team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience demonstrating progressive responsibility
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript to write robust and maintainable code
• Experience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to improve software reliability
• Demonstrated collaboration skills with effective interpersonal and presentation abilities to contribute to team success
