Assistant Accountant

Network (networksg.net) is a Singapore platform connecting 126+ interior design firms with homeowners. We run a marketing arm and a lead-generation platform for the design industry. As we grow, we are bringing our day-to-day finance work in-house and looking for an Assistant Accountant to own it.

The Role
This is a focused, hands-on finance role. You will run the routine money operations of the business: invoicing, bookkeeping, and filing. The work is straightforward but important, and we need someone accurate and organised who can run the cycle reliably with minimal supervision. Payroll, commissions, and other sensitive items are handled internally, so this role stays clean and well-defined.

What You Will Do

• Raise, issue, and send client invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments
• Record daily transactions and reconcile accounts monthly in Xero
• Prepare GST submissions and keep financial documents properly organised and filed
• Liaise with our external tax agent on statutory and year-end matters
• Maintain clean records of receipts, bills, and bank statements
• Support month-end closing and prepare simple monthly summaries
• Provide general finance and accounts admin support as needed

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2 years in an accounts or bookkeeping role
• Proficient in Xero, or able to learn it quickly
• Familiar with Singapore GST and basic statutory requirements
• Accurate, organised, and comfortable working independently
• Diploma in Accountancy, LCCI, or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Experience in an agency, services, or SME environment
• Comfort working alongside automation and AI tools to speed up routine work
