Available Position: Freelance English Tutor

We are looking for dedicated and engaging tutors to join our growing team.

Subjects:
• Primary English
• Secondary English (Express / IP)
• Junior College / IB English
• International Curriculum (IGCSE / IB)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates based on experience and class size

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with MOE / IGCSE / IB syllabuses
• Strengthen students’ reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication skills
• Guide students in grammar, vocabulary, and critical literary analysis
• Encourage independent thinking and articulate expression in both written and spoken English
• Adapt lesson materials to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Mark assignments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and the Academic Head
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement and creation of new learning resources

Requirements

• Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
• University Degree (Education, English Language, or Literature preferred)
• Excellent command of English with strong writing and communication skills
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring confidence in learners
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student success
• Able to teach after-school hours and/or weekends
