Job Summary

The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, transporting, and storing goods safely and efficiently. The role also ensures adherence to workplace safety standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload containers, trucks, and incoming shipments.
• Transport and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Conduct routine pre-use and post-use inspections of forklifts and equipment.
• Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Valid Heavy Forklift Operator License with certification to operate 5-ton and 16-ton forklifts.
• Able to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Previous experience in forklift operation and warehouse environments is preferred.
• Experience in loading and unloading goods from trucks or containers will be an advantage.
