Job Summary

You will help move and track goods in and out of the cold store using forklifts and the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS). Your work ensures that goods are handled safely and stored correctly.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to load, unload, and move goods within the cold store
• Store and pick goods accurately using the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) to maintain inventory flow
• Check and record stock accurately using computer systems or scanners to ensure inventory accuracy
• Maintain records, logs, and prepare simple reports to support warehouse operations
• Perform basic equipment checks and carry out minor maintenance to ensure operational readiness
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area to support a safe and efficient warehouse environment
• Follow company safety procedures and use protective equipment consistently when working in cold rooms

Requirements

• Ability to work in cold rooms with temperatures ranging from 0°C to -25°C
• Valid forklift license
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of warehouse systems
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience, with cold store experience considered an advantage
• GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification
