Job Description
This is a newly created role within the Supply Chain function, offering the opportunity to build and shape global procurement from the ground up. The position focuses on establishing sourcing frameworks, supplier management practices, and procurement processes, while overseeing day-to-day purchasing activities. Operating across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, it requires a hands-on individual who can balance strategic development with operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Ideal for someone who takes ownership and is driven to build a scalable procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement procurement policies, processes, and supplier management frameworks
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities across raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Lead and support RFP processes, including supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and onboarding
- Support supplier contract negotiations to ensure commercially sound and compliant agreements
- Drive supplier performance improvements across cost, quality, and delivery metrics
- Partner with Finance to track spend, manage budgets, and identify cost optimisation opportunities
- Collaborate with OEM manufacturers to ensure supply continuity and mitigate potential risks
- Support SAP implementation and drive procurement-related system and process enhancements
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., Halal, SFA, F&B requirements)
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across regions to ensure seamless procurement operations
- Provide support on indirect procurement activities as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally within FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing
- Experience in procurement transformation, supplier management, or cost optimisation initiatives is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across functions and regions
