Finance Lead / Financial Controller

Curate Kitchen is a fast-growing food service company primarily engaged in catering and institutional food services. As the business continues to expand, we are looking for a driven finance professional to lead and strengthen our finance function.

Our Finance team ensures that financial records across all Curate Kitchen entities comply with statutory, regulatory, and reporting requirements. In this role, you will lead the Finance department and serve as the primary point of contact for corporate secretaries, external auditors, and tax advisors. You will oversee the financial reporting process while working closely with management and internal stakeholders to strengthen financial processes and support the company’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead Curate Kitchen’s financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, strong financial controls, and timely reporting.

• Oversee audit, tax, company secretarial, and corporate governance matters across the group.

• Drive financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

• Monitor cash flow and treasury to support operational stability and growth.

• Develop and improve financial systems, policies, and internal controls to strengthen governance.

• Partner with management on strategic initiatives, business expansion, and operational improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business objectives.

• Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or ACCA).

• 5–10 years of relevant experience, either trained in a public accounting/audit firm or serving as a Financial Controller.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and operational finance.

• Experience improving financial processes, systems, and operational efficiency.

• Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.

• Proficiency in accounting and financial management systems.
