Role Overview

The FinanceManager will support financial strategy, business operations, and regional expansion initiatives. This is not a traditional accounting role. You will act as a key business partner to leadership, providing financial insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring strong financial governance as thecompany scales across international markets.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, and businessteams.

Work Arrangement

Initial 3–6months based in Kuala Lumpur (KL), followed by relocation to Japan. Full relocation support provided, including visa sponsorship and housing.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions and growth strategies
• Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends or risks

2. Business Partnering

• Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business initiatives
• Provide financial insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Support strategic planning and expansion activities

3. Financial Operations & Control

• Oversee financial processes, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Manage cost control, cash flow, and resource allocation

4. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems
• Support implementation of financial tools and automation
• Enhance reporting efficiency and data visibility

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or related roles
• Strong financial analysis and business partnering experience
• Experience in fast-paced or growth-stage environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English to support Chinese-speaking customers and regional stakeholders
• Willingness to relocate to Japan

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS, tech, or digital business environments
• Regional or international exposure
• Familiarity with financial systems and data tools
• Experiencesupporting scaling or expansion businesses
