Finance Manager

Sports Schooling is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions across our growing group of companies. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working closely with management to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and day-to-day finance operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end financial closing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using Xero.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance with IRAS requirements.
• Coordinate and manage annual audits, including preparation of schedules and supporting documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
• Process staff claims and reimbursements.
• Support payroll administration and related statutory submissions.
• Ensure compliance with ACRA, tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Review and improve finance processes, controls, and reporting systems.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with Xero Accounting Software preferred.
• Familiarity with GST filing, financial closing, and audit processes.
• Strong understanding of Singapore accounting and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
