Job Description

Main function in supporting Finance Department in Indonesia and Singapore, overseeing junior in Malaysia, if necessary.
Daily AR and AP functions in updating payment settlement and sending SOA for Indonesia and Singapore.
Update Sysfreight on Sales and vendor invoices and postings of invoices.
Update Sysfreight on accounting entries in journals, receipts, payments
Month end reconciliations for bank, contra payments with vendors and inter-co balances.
Month end closing of accounts and submission for VAT/GST/SST when required.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for settlement workflows, ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and financial regulations
Collaborate with the finance team during the month-end and year-end closings, ensuring completeness and accuracy and timeliness of all financial and operational reports.
Liaise with multiple agents, both local and overseas, to collect settlement reports and verify alignment with contractual costing guidelines.
Provide regular updates and reporting managers, maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of all financial and operational reports.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Accounts, Compliance, Operations) to investigate and resolve settlement-related discrepancies.
Train and mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
Conduct performance reviews, reinforcing accountability and alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
