Finance Executive

We are seeking a diligent Finance Executive to handle full sets of statutory reporting and bank reconciliation for our Singapore entities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with IFRS standards and manage AR, AP, vendor payments, GST submissions, and financial reporting. This role requires collaboration across departments and liaising with external auditors and authorities to meet all statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of statutory reporting and bank reconciliation for 4 Singapore entities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards/principles and be familiar with financial concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Handle AR and AP. Support the Corporate sales team with monitoring receivables.Process weekly and monthly vendor payments.
• Manage and approve staff claims.
• Prepare GST reconciliation and quarterly GST submission.
• Upkeep of FA register and schedules.Manage timely closing process and reconciliations and ensure month-end closing financial statements and reports are prepared accurately and timely.
• Take initiative to work across departments for finance-related tasks.
• Assist in financial tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist in liaising with auditors, corporate secretary, banks, and government authorities, ensuring conformance to all statutory requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting or other accounting qualifications; completed or pursuing ACCA/CPA/CA.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting and finance would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Hands-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as Netsuite / Oracle would be an advantage.
