Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and self-motivated Finance Assistant Manager to oversee regional finance operations and ensure compliance across our Group's entities. You will play a pivotal role in managing full sets of accounts, performing regional consolidations, and acting as a key liaison between local teams and corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee full sets of accounts for regional entities, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
- Perform consolidation of multi-entity financial statements and manage inter-company reconciliations and billings.
- Oversee payroll and ensure regional cash flow liquidity for various entities.
2. Compliance & Tax:
- Ensure compliance oversight of multiple GAAPs (e.g., IFRS vs. Local GAAP) and transfer pricing documentation across regional jurisdictions (e.g., SG, KH).
- Manage statutory reporting (ACRA/IRAS), GST filing, and coordinate local tax submission.
- Review inter-company contracts to ensure adherence to Group policies and audit standards.
3. Stakeholder Liaison & Analysis:
- Act as the primary point of contact for local teams, regional accounting stakeholders, and the Head of Department (HOD).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage budgets and provide detailed variance analysis.
4. Ad Hoc & Support:
- Cooperate and assist auditors with their requests.
- Perform ad-hoc investigations or duties as assigned by the HOD to support regional operations.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, or professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, LCCI, or CAT).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of audit or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial capacity.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail; proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
- Communication: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively liaise with regional team members and stakeholders in our North Asian offices.
- Soft Skills: A pleasant disposition, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and a proactive, "willing to learn" attitude.
- Availability: Candidates available to start immediately or within short notice are preferred.
- Location: 911 Bukit Timah Road. (Onsite)
- Hours: Mon – Fri (8:30am – 5:30pm) & Alternate Saturdays (8:30am – 12:30pm).
