We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to be responsible for the day-to-day accounting & finance function within the company, reporting to the Finance Manager.

1. Adhere to the company’s finance and accounting processes, and ensure that company policies are in compliance with accounting standards.
2. Maintain and monitor effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
3. Identify, resolve and follow up on discrepancies and outstanding matters arising from operations.
4. Handle full spectrum of AR and cash functions.
5. Support AP function.
6. Perform accounts reconciliations and assist in monthly closing of accounts.
7. Support queries on 3rd party financial hub systems.
8. Liaise, create bank payments, reconciliation of banking transactions.
9. Perform general administrative and other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirement

• Diploma in Accountancy or related field;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
• Positive attitude, meticulous and someone with initiative;
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and complete tasks within stipulated deadlines;
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
