Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to customers and channel partners across the region, from enquiry to post-deployment support.
• Deliver product walkthroughs, technical workshops, and on-site/virtual training to uplift users’ application know-how.
• Configure motion control systems at customer sites, including commissioning, parameter tuning, and servo performance optimisation.
• Support pre-sales activities by proposing suitable technical solutions, conducting demos, and addressing application feasibility.
• Collaborate with customers to design and implement tailored motion applications for specialised use cases.
• Diagnose system issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution to minimise downtime.
• Work with internal teams to relay field feedback and contribute to continuous product and solution improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, application notes, and best-practice guidelines to support customer success.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Field Application Engineer or Application Engineer  roles supporting motion control systems, industrial automation solutions, robotics, or high-precision equipment.
• Solid fundamentals in control systems, servo drives, motors, and power electronics, with hands-on system integration exposure.
• Comfortable with basic programming or scripting (e.g. Python, C/C++) for application development and troubleshooting; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with business travel around APAC and to HQ.
