Job Summary

Lead and manage daily production operations to deliver high-quality furniture and wood products on schedule. Oversee the entire manufacturing process while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project specifications and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of furniture and wood products that meet client requirements
• Inspect finished products to verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks
• Supervise the full production lifecycle including material cutting, assembly, finishing, and on-site installation to optimize workflow and output quality
• Lead, train, and schedule carpenters, foremen, and technicians to maintain a skilled and efficient workforce
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain machinery such as routers, planners, and edge-bending machines to ensure operational efficiency and minimize material wastage
• Collaborate with designers, clients, and contractors to align production processes with project requirements and resolve any issues proactively
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide production and ensure accuracy

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess at least a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture manufacturing and construction
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, woodworking techniques, and operation of woodworking machinery
• Effective interpersonal skills to manage teams and maintain client relationships
• Proficiency in production planning tools or inventory management systems
