Job Description

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all technical and engineering activities, ensuring best practices are implemented across the entire project.
• Oversee the maintenance and performance of both facility assets and contractor-managed assets to support contract objectives and operational reliability.
• Ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely, creating an optimal working environment for all users by effectively managing resources, services, and operational processes.
• Serve as the primary link between the contractor and the governing authority, ensuring seamless coordination of resources, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations.
• Act as the main contact point for internal teams and external agencies to support communication flow and timely resolution of issues.
• Lead and execute facility‑related initiatives, including refurbishment works, infrastructure enhancements, and space planning activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Facilities Manager should have:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Facilities Manager handling commercial and/or retail facilities.
• Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Estate Management, or another related field.
• Experience in managing the facilities of a project from scratch is a plus.
• Possess strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with confidence in preparing reports and engaging with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrate a solid track record in managing operational budgets, driving cost-efficiency initiatives, and overseeing financial performance within facility operations.
