Our client is a leading data center and digital infrastructure company in Singapore. Due to rapid expansion plans, they are seeking for multiple  Facilities Engineer who to manage all Data Center Facilities Infrastructure located in the west area.

Location: West Area

Working Hours: Shift work required to support 24x7 DC Operations

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for the DC centralized network operations management

·       Responding to incidents reports or escalating to 2nd or 3rd level resolution based on urgency and complexity

·       System management on customer request or electronic visitation

·       Media management, visual inspection, device staging room tasks, physical connection of HDDs, network cable testing, insertion of fire SFPs

·       Manage equipment movement, asset tagging, labeling and tracking to make sure accuracy of the inventory

·       Familiar with all system MOP/SOP to provide system recovery solutions

·       Responsible for DC Facilities Management

·       Monitoring all data center facilities infrastructure to ensure it is in normal function (UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor etc)

·       Ensure all DC supporting infrastructure (Building Monitoring System, Environment Monitoring System, Access Control System, Electronic Visitation System) are functioning well

·       Stakeholders’ coordination to resolve technical issues

·       Coordinating maintenance and shutdowns

·       Manage incident and closure including Root Cause analysis

·       Ensuring customers’ contractual service level agreements are met

Requirements:

·       ITE / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Computer & Communication Engineer, IT or relevant

·       5 years of experience in data center facilities and operations support

·       Possesses certificate of Infocomm Technology / ITIL Foundation level

·       Good communication skills and critical thinking

·       Comfortable with shift work
