Job Summary

The Export Customer Service Representative will be responsible for managing and overseeing the export process, ensuring that all shipments are handled efficiently, on time, and meet customer expectations. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of export documentation and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage export shipments by coordinating with customers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Provide clear and timely updates to customers on the status of their export shipments to maintain transparency and trust
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to export shipments to maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote services, follow up on leads, and generate new business opportunities
  • Provide accurate information on pricing and promotional offers to targeted prospects to support sales efforts
  • Maintain and update a customer contact database with call results and feedback to support customer relationship management
  • Assist in market research by identifying new export opportunities and customer segments to expand business reach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Identify and suggest improvements in processes to increase customer satisfaction and streamline export operations
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments and customers to ensure smooth export operations and problem resolution
  • Organize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and quality standards

  • Education in International Trade or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to support documentation and communication tasks
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with customers and partners
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to handle export-related challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with customers to achieve common goals
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage export processes efficiently

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Location: Central Area
