Reporting to Manager, HSE, this position is responsible for implementing occupational safety & health and environment programmes in the process plant and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• To identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or processes
• ​Conduct safety inspection and walkabout
• Enforce regulatory and company safety requirement
• Document all safety incidents and ensure corrective measures are implemented
• Carry out HSE monitoring activities
• Work with Fire & Security function
• Conduct HSE related training
• Participate in management systems (SS 651, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) and corporate audits, ensure proper documentation in accordance with the requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Familiar with MOM, NEA and SCDF related requirement and well versed in HSE practices
• Certified Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer is a must
• Self-motivated, independent and resourceful
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to perform overtime work if required
• Willing to work in Jurong Island
