Job Summary

Join Grade Solution Learning Centre as a teacher or tutor delivering Primary and Secondary level English, Math, Science, or Chinese lessons. Teach in a supportive environment with no venue hunting or payment chasing, and benefit from profit-sharing and professional growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in English, Math, Science, or Chinese for both Primary and Secondary levels aligned with the Singapore syllabus
• Mark students’ work and provide constructive feedback to support learning progress
• Communicate effectively with students to foster a firm yet nurturing learning environment
• Participate in social media video content to promote the learning centre and engage the community
• Collaborate with the team to utilize AI-learning tools that identify learning gaps and reinforce personalized learning
• Manage up to 10 classes per week during scheduled hours at the Marine Parade centre

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in the relevant subject
• Ability to teach both Primary and Secondary levels
• Familiarity with the Singapore syllabus
• Dependable, reliable, and responsible work ethic
• Ability to maintain a firm but nurturing approach in teaching
• Effective communication skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Growth mindset and resilience to handle challenges and feedback
• Interest in using Edtech, AI, and Machine Learning to enhance teaching effectiveness

Other Information

• Location: Marine Parade (physical classes)
• Working Hours: Weekdays 1pm to 9pm; Weekends 10am to 6pm
• Salary Range: Full-time $4,500 - $6,000 with profit-sharing based on student fees
• Benefits: Full-time staff receive 1 weekday and 1 weekend off per week
• Selection Process: Candidates complete a test via email, followed by a mock lesson and interview
