This role focuses on the architecture, optimisation, and deployment of electrical power solutions for large, complex facilities requiring high reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.

You will act as a technical authority and trusted advisor, supporting the full solution lifecycle from early concept through commissioning and operations, while collaborating with internal teams, partners, and end clients.

Power Infrastructure & Solution Architecture

• Develop and validate factory-tested, modular electrical solutions, including substations, UPS systems, energy storage, and power distribution architectures.

• Define system redundancy strategies and eliminate single points of failure in line with mission-critical requirements.

• Ensure seamless integration between prefabricated modules and site-based infrastructure.

Efficiency, Reliability & Standards

• Optimise overall system performance, including power efficiency, availability, and monitoring.

• Ensure solutions comply with applicable local and international standards and codes.

• Support certification and approvals with relevant authorities and testing bodies where required.

Technical Advisory & Stakeholder Support

• Provide technical leadership during tendering, proposals, and technical clarifications.

• Work closely with consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to align solutions with client objectives.

• Support technical workshops, design reviews, and solution presentations.

Implementation & Lifecycle Support

• Oversee technical aspects of factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and system integration.

• Provide technical guidance during installation and operational phases.

• Support training for internal teams, partners, and client operations personnel.

Documentation & Governance

• Review and approve technical documents including drawings, specifications, compliance matrices, and functional descriptions.

• Prepare solution documentation, operational narratives, and technical presentations.

• Act as technical reviewer for third-party scopes and product selections.

Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor solutions.

• Provide structured technical input to support product development and future solution roadmaps.

• Support continuous improvement in efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or equivalent.

• 8+ years experience in electrical power systems for mission-critical or high-availability facilities.

• Strong expertise in MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, energy storage, and power system integration.

• Proficient in AutoCAD / Visio and standard engineering documentation tools.

• Experience with large-scale, modular, or prefabricated infrastructure solutions.

• Knowledge of energy management, monitoring platforms, or control systems.

• Exposure to commercial considerations (Capex, lifecycle cost, ROI).
