Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering operations and site management. The role is responsible for ensuring that electrical installation, testing and maintenance works at construction sites are carried out in accordance with approved standards, specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee electrical engineering works at construction sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

• Review and verify electrical drawings, including secondary schematic diagrams, in coordination with vendors and consultants.

• Supervise and witness on-site testing and commissioning of electrical panels, motors and related equipment.

• Ensure construction quality acceptance and resolve technical and construction-related issues.

• Liaise with clients, employers, consultants and relevant personnel, and attend required inspections and witnessing sessions.

• Prepare, review and update construction method statements and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of electrical works.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or industrial projects.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised institution.

• Proficient in CAD drawing software.

• Familiar with electrical equipment testing procedures and site commissioning works.

• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently resolve technical issues.

• Must be able to meet site access and security requirements to work in Jurong Island.
