Truck Driver Job Scope

1. Transportation & Delivery

• Operate and drive various types of trucks to transport goods safely.
• Deliver cargo to designated locations on time.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.

2. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., checking oil, tires, and brakes).
• Ensure the truck is clean and in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or defects to the maintenance team.

3. Loading & Unloading

• Assist in loading and unloading goods (if required).
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or accidents.

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and fuel usage reports.
• Ensure proper documentation, such as invoices, delivery notes, and permits.

5. Communication & Coordination

• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Handle any delivery-related issues professionally.
