Job Description

Job Description:

  • Oversee daily dormitory operations, including room allocation, check-in and check-out procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of residents, occupancy, and visitor logs
  • Ensure dormitory cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of facilities
  • Coordinate with vendors for cleaning, repairs, pest control, and other services
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g. MOM / FEDA requirements)
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with authorities during audits or inspections
  • Enforce dormitory rules and maintain discipline among residents
  • Handle residents’ complaints, conflicts, and welfare matters
  • Manage and report incidents, including safety or disciplinary issues
  • Work closely with HR, Operations, and Safety teams on accommodation planning and worker management
  • Monitor dormitory-related expenses and recommend cost control measures
  • Prepare periodic reports on dormitory operations, occupancy, and issues
  • Be on standby / on-call to respond to emergency situations when required


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in dormitory / facilities / property management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel,Word,Outlook)
  • Experience managing foreign worker dormitories is preferred
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. MOM, FEDA, safety compliance)
  • Strong organizational and operational management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle conflicts, disciplinary matters, and emergency situations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages (e.g. Mandarin) are an advantage
  • Willing to be on-call and work beyond standard hours when necessary
  • Willing to be based at Joo Koon area

Working Hours: (Mon to Sat) - 8am to 5.30pm
