The Director, Regional Business & Site Leadership Support is responsible for the operational effectiveness of the region through leadership of local Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal and Administrative teams, with a dotted-line relationship to their respective global functions.

The role partners closely with Regional Sales Leadership and Global Functions to ensure strong financial stewardship, operational excellence, regulatory compliance and effective employee experience while adapting global standards to local business and regulatory requirements.

The Director will report to the CFO (Chief Financial Officer).

Job Responsibilities

Regional Operations & Site Leadership

  • Lead and oversee local Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, Facilities and Administrative teams.
  • Ensure the effective operation of regional business support functions while balancing global standards with local business and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain visibility across regional operations, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues impacting business performance or employee experience.
  • Lead the implementation of global initiatives, systems and operational changes across the region.
  • Develop talent within the regional support organization by identifying capability gaps, building functional expertise and driving accountability for results.
  • Drive operational improvements that increase efficiency, standardization and service quality across the region.

Regional Financial Management

  • Lead regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and internal controls.
  • Partner with Regional Leadership to provide financial insight that supports business planning and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor regional operating expenses and financial performance against plan, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure timely month-end close, statutory reporting and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate local tax compliance, transfer pricing and intercompany transactions in partnership with Global Finance and external advisors.

Compliance, Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory, statutory and tax requirements across APAC.
  • Maintain oversight of legal entity administration and support local corporate governance requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance and Global Functions to manage regional operational and compliance risks.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the business, regulatory and tax environments across India, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia and other APAC jurisdictions where Milestone operates.
  • Ensure global policies and processesare implemented effectively while accommodating local legal and businessrequirements.

Employee Experience & Site Health (partnership with P&C):

  • Partner with P&C to supportemployee engagement, leadership effectiveness and overall site health.
  • Coordinate local engagementactivities, communications and leadership community initiatives.
  • Provide input on regionalorganizational risks, opportunities and workforce needs.
  • Track site-level performanceindicators and support execution of agreed improvement actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Actas the primary coordination point between regional operations and GlobalFunctions.
  • Buildstrong partnerships across Finance, IT, Legal, P&C and Commercial teams toensure effective execution of regional priorities.
  • Facilitate collaboration acrossfunctions to resolve operational challenges and improve business outcomes.

Decision-Making& Local Authority:

  • Own site-level decisions withindelegated authority and budget, including local spend, vendor management andoperational priorities.
  • Balance local business needs withglobal direction, escalating issues only when appropriate.
  • Provide clear recommendations andbusiness context when escalation is required.
  • Partner with P&C on decisionsimpacting employees and site health.

Functional Diversity Management: Lead and coordinate across core functions:

  • Finance: Lead regional financial budgeting,forecasting, reporting and internal controls, ensuring alignment with corporategoals.
  • Accounting and tax: Ensure timely and accurate financialmonth end packages, audit readiness, and compliance with local andinternational accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Legal: Manage legal risk and compliancewith regional regulatory requirements, including regional sales and marketingcontracts in alignment with Global legal & Compliance.
  • IT: Supervise regional IT helpdeskoperations, ensure system uptime, and support local implementation of global ITinitiatives.
  • Admin Teams andFacility Management: Ensure effective site operations, facilities maintenance, and supportfor administrative functions.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience infast-growing startups or high-performing, fast-growing larger organizations,within Finance and Administration. Preferably a master’s degree within businessadministration and/or CPA or the like.
  • Leadership & Team Management: 5+ years of experience leading andmentoring a team, fostering collaboration and high performance. An advantage ifproven track record of leading leaders.
  • Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of APAC lawsand regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, departments and withina global organization.
  • Strong Communication: Clear, concise communication skillsfor explaining HR policies and processes, both written and verbal.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and improveoperational KPIs, driving continuous process optimization.
