Job Description
Role Overview
The Director of Employee Relations (ER) will lead the ER agenda in Singapore, ensuring a fair, respectful, and legally compliant workplace aligned with global and APAC strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary ER lead, partnering with leadership and HR to manage risks, trends, and workplace culture.
- Advise managers and HR on ER matters including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflicts.
- Lead and support investigations, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes.
- Implement ER policies in line with local laws and global standards.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams on case resolution.
- Analyze ER data and trends to drive improvements and preventative actions.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of ER or HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and ER practices.
- Experience handling complex cases and investigations.
- Strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
- High integrity and ability to manage sensitive matters independently.
