Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Director to lead and oversee the execution of the Alexandra Integrated General Hospital (AIGH) Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, planning, coordination, and delivery of the project, ensuring completion within schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

The Senior Project Director will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with Singapore construction regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, execution, and management of the Alexandra Integrated General Hospital (AIGH) Project.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, manpower, procurement, and site operations.
• Ensure project delivery complies with contractual requirements, quality standards, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and government authorities on project matters.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to project managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Review and approve project reports, method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions.
• Ensure effective cost control and resource management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend management meetings and provide regular updates on project performance.
• Resolve project issues, contractual matters, and operational challenges efficiently.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• At least 8 years of experience in a senior management or project director role in Singapore.
• Proven experience as Project Director for at least two (2) hospital construction project with a minimum capacity of 1,000 beds each.
• Strong experience in managing large-scale healthcare or hospital development projects from planning to completion.
• Familiar with Singapore construction regulations, BCA requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead large project teams effectively.
• Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and contract administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling government or large commercial projects in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
