Design Engineer (Mechanical / Tool & Die)

• Create designs and design carbide press tools for high precision metal stamped parts.
• Study part drawing, prepare layout according to product requirement independently.
• Complete tool design according to requirement from development to production.
• Resolve technical issues and recommend improvements on new & existing tools.
• Follow up with toolmaker on tooling during assembly and testing.
• Guidance to draughtswoman to finish the modification on simple tooling design.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die Engineering with 3 years in Tool & Die design.
• Proficient in design software with knowledge in high speed progessive tool design.
• Ability to use AutoCAD/V6/solid works/CAD programs.
