We are in a joint venture with a well-established Main Contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Singapore. For the ongoing LTA Civil Infrastructure project involving Underground Tunnels and MRT Station Structures, we are seeking an experienced C&S Design Engineer / Design Coordinator to support design development, technical coordination, and authority compliance, ensuring seamless integration between design and construction teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and manage civil and structural design works for underground tunnel and MRT station structures
• Review design drawings, technical submissions, and calculations in compliance with LTA specifications
• Liaise with LTA, consultants, QP, ERSS designers, and internal construction teams for technical coordination
• Support design development, value engineering, and buildability reviews
• Coordinate shop drawings, temporary works design, and method statements with site teams
• Monitor design progress to ensure alignment with construction schedule and milestones
• Assist in resolving design discrepancies and site technical issues
• Ensure compliance with LTA standards, statutory requirements, and authority submissions
• Participate in design meetings, technical workshops, and authority inspections
• Prepare and review technical reports, RFI responses, and design change documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil and structural design or coordination roles
• Strong experience in LTA MRT underground tunnel or station projects in Singapore
• Familiarity with deep excavation, ERSS, diaphragm walls, bored piles, and structural works
• Strong understanding of LTA submission processes and regulatory requirements
• Experience working within Main Contractor or design coordination teams preferred
• Good communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills
