We are in a joint venture with a well-established Main Contractor delivering large-scale building construction projects across Singapore. For ongoing and upcoming high-rise and mixed-use developments, we are seeking an experienced C&S Design Engineer / Design Coordinator to support design development, technical coordination, and buildability integration between consultants and site teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and manage civil and structural design works for high-rise and large-scale building projects
• Review consultant drawings, structural calculations, and technical submissions
• Ensure design compliance with BCA requirements, statutory codes, and project specifications
• Liaise with architects, M&E teams, consultants, and site construction teams for technical coordination
• Support design development, value engineering, and buildability optimisation
• Coordinate shop drawings, structural detailing, and temporary works submissions
• Monitor design progress to align with construction schedules and site milestones
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies and technical issues during construction
• Participate in design coordination meetings and technical workshops
• Prepare technical reports, RFIs, and documentation related to design changes

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in civil and structural design or coordination for building projects
• Experience working on high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, or institutional buildings in Singapore
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, and foundation systems
• Familiar with BCA regulations, authority submissions, and statutory requirements
• Experience working within a Main Contractor environment preferred
• Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills
