Job Summary

We are seeking a Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Analyst to support the Investment Banking team in Singapore. This role involves collaborating with senior originators and syndicate teams to execute bond issuances, conduct market analysis, prepare client pitches, and support capital markets transactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse market databases, bond issuance data, and comparable transactions to support DCM business activities
• Prepare client pitchbooks, financial analyses, and marketing materials for debt capital markets and bond financing opportunities
• Conduct market research on fixed income markets, interest rate trends, bond pricing, and capital market activities to inform decision-making
• Assist in preparing indicative pricing analyses and market updates for prospective issuers
• Support the execution of bond issuance and debt capital markets transactions from origination through completion
• Coordinate with syndicate, legal, compliance, operations, and other banking teams to ensure smooth transaction execution
• Manage multiple assignments proactively and deliver detailed, accurate work under pressure
• Support ad-hoc strategic projects, market analysis, and management assignments to drive business insights

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills applied to investment banking and capital markets contexts
• Good understanding of bond markets, fixed income products, and capital markets activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and presentation preparation
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accountancy, or related disciplines
• Prior experience or internship exposure within Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Fixed Income, Corporate Finance, or Capital Markets
