Our client is an established MNC with more than 100 years of expereince in the industry. As part of their investment in Data and AI, they are now hiring an experienced Head of Data / Data Director | AI to join their company.

About the job

• Strategic Direction: Define and execute a long-term, enterprise-wide Data and AI strategy that directly supports corporate goals, drives competitive advantage, and secures new growth opportunities.
• Platform Excellence: Lead the architecture, development, and modernization of secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise data and AI platforms (including the global data lake) and integration systems (APIs, event-driven), replacing legacy infrastructure.
• AI/ML Enablement: Drive the adoption and operationalization of cutting-edge AI/ML models, including LLMs and Generative AI, by leading high-performance data science and engineering teams. Manage the full AI project lifecycle from PoC to production.
• Governance & Compliance: Establish robust data governance (quality, lineage, stewardship, metadata) and AI governance frameworks, ensuring strict compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and ethical AI principles.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a key partner to C-level executives and cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) to identify high-impact business problems and integrate AI solutions into core offerings.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 8 years of experience in Data Sdcience. At least 5 years of experience managing a team is required for this role. Engagement with senior business stakeholders is required for this role.

Proven track record in Data Strategy and roadmap is required for this role.

Exposure to AI is higher preferred.
